AnkerPunkt app

AnkerPunkt is a paid iPhone app with 67 included anchors. There is no subscription or in-app purchase.

The app stores completed sessions, saved Journey entries, settings, one optional reminder rule, and Health export tracking records locally on the device. It has no account, backend, cloud sync, app analytics, advertising, tracking, AI, or third-party SDK. Apple-controlled device backups may include app data depending on the user’s system settings.

The optional daily reminder is a local notification. There is no server-side push service.

Optional Apple Health export

Apple Health export is opt-in. AnkerPunkt requests write access to Apple Health State of Mind only and never reads Health data.

An exported State of Mind entry can contain:

  • the timestamp;
  • a weather-derived valence;
  • an optional Apple State of Mind label; and
  • external UUID metadata used to identify AnkerPunkt-written entries.

Unknown weather is not exported. The export does not contain notes, anchor titles or text, guided steps, direction, check-out text, impulse details, custom performance indicators, or diagnostic categories.

Deletion

Reset Journey history deletes saved Journey entries only.

Delete all local data removes local app records, settings, reminder rules, Health export tracking records, and pending local reminders.

Apple Health entries are stored separately. When AnkerPunkt-written Health entries exist, the app offers local-only deletion or Health-plus-local deletion. If Health deletion fails, local data is preserved so the user can retry or deliberately choose local-only deletion.

Website operation and access logs

When this website is requested, technical access data may be processed to deliver and secure it. This can include an IP address, requested path, timestamp, referrer, user-agent information, and technical response information.

The site’s dedicated access log intentionally excludes query strings from requested paths and referrers. It is rotated daily and normally retained for up to 30 rotations for operation, security, troubleshooting, and aggregate consent-flow measurement.

The legal basis is the legitimate interest in operating and protecting the public website under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Consent and Matomo analytics

The website uses the manuel_consent browser cookie to remember the privacy choice. Same-origin consent-flow requests may be sent to paths under /__manuel-consent/v1/. These requests use POST, carry no request body or query string, omit credentials and referrer, and are counted only from the site’s access log.

Optional Matomo analytics is operated by Manuel Faderny e.U. at webanalytics.manuelfaderny.at. The Matomo JavaScript library may load before a decision to establish consent mode, but requireConsent prevents page-view and link-tracking requests before analytics consent. If analytics is accepted, Matomo may set _pk_* cookies and process page views and link interactions for aggregate website improvement. Rejecting or later revoking analytics blocks tracking and clears Matomo consent or tracking cookies where possible.

The legal basis for optional Matomo analytics is consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. Consent can be withdrawn at any time through Privacy settings in the footer.

The website has no advertising, third-party embeds, or unrelated tracking.

Support email

When you contact support, the email address, message, and technical information you choose to provide are processed to answer the request. Support messages are kept only as long as needed for the request and necessary follow-up. The legal bases are Article 6(1)(b) and Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Recipients

Data is disclosed only where needed to operate the website, provide support, or distribute the app. Apple independently controls App Store billing, distribution, device backup, and Apple Health platform services. Personal data is not sold.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, you may have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, and data portability. You may withdraw analytics consent at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing.

Questions or requests can be sent to support@manueldigital.at.

You may also complain to the Austrian Data Protection Authority: Österreichische Datenschutzbehörde, Barichgasse 40–42, 1030 Wien, Austria, www.dsb.gv.at.
